What are the restrictions for adding tolls to my account?

Tolls can be added to our FleetCard Classic (blue), FleetCard (orange) and FleetCard+Electric (white) cards. However, the following restrictions apply:

  • Card type must be a vehicle card
  • The card must be linked to a specific vehicle registration – this cannot be a vehicle card with a generic name such as “admin” or “pool”.

The reason for this is that the tolling system captures the vehicle registration and the charges cannot be mapped back without the registration being linked to the card.

You can have multiple vehicles on your account linked to the Toll service, as long as they have their own vehicle card with a registration on it. Each vehicle’s toll charges will be itemised separately on your invoice, allowing you to allocate costs back to the specific vehicle or budget centre.
